Yvette C. Burton

Senior Fellow

Dr. Yvette C. Burton is an author, award-winning behavioral scientist, business advisor, and workforce strategist. Her work centers on the application of predictive analytics, learning simulations, and integrated strategies for leadership effectiveness and team performance. Dr. Burton currently serves as Managing Director for Silent Partner Solutions, and Associate Faculty at New York University’s Division of Business Programs. She is Professor Emeritus of Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, and 2021 External Reviewer for Georgetown University’s Human Capital Management Graduate Program. She has held numerous strategy consulting executive roles at Lockheed Martin, IBM, Ernst and Young, and Deloitte with a particular focus on high-tech, industrial products, higher education, and public defense sectors.

Yvette was featured in Craine’s New York Business 2020 Notable LGBTQ Leaders and Executives. In 2019, She received the Crown Prince of Dubai Hamdan Bin Mohammed Award for Innovation in Project Management (HBMAIPM), for her use of predictive analytics and learning simulation design in learner-centric engagement. She resides in New York City and serves on a variety of regional and global philanthropic advisory boards.
