Vice President of Partnerships

Stephen Lynch serves as Vice President – Partnerships at the Burning Glass Institute. He is dedicated to helping diverse organizations advance important work that improves outcomes for people, industries, and communities.

Steve comes to the Institute with a long history of connecting government agencies, industry associations, foundations, education partners, and researchers to solutions that move the needle. He spent 10+ years as Vice President, Workforce & Economic Development Solutions for Burning Glass Technologies, which is now Lightcast.

Prior to Lightcast, Steve served as a Program Director within JFF’s Building Economic Opportunity Group, leading initiatives focused on promoting career pathways and skills training for low-wage and middle-skill workers, as well as delivering technical assistance to workforce professionals. He is a former Workforce Programs Specialist, for U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration. Steve’s career spans law, workforce development, finance, education, consulting, and leadership roles in both for-profits and nonprofits.

Stephen Lynch holds a JD from Lewis & Clark College Law School in Portland, OR, and a BA in political science from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.
